INTRO SESSION TO PRIMAL ENERGY & SACRED SEXUALITY

Meet Your Guide
While I have a diversity of experience and trainings over the past decade, I also believe we are more than our credentials. However, training does matter and is important - so my professional bio would read something like this:
Phoenix Amara is an internationally recognized Prayerformance Ceremonialist, Writer, and Sacred Sexuality guide. Having mentored in esoteric studies and metaphysics since childhood, she pursued degrees in Visual Arts and Environmental Design, explored plant medicines, personal development modalities, and finally the erotic arts. For over a decade, she’s facilitated hundreds of ceremonies & journeys for clients, as well as mentoring thousands through her online and in-person trainings, retreats and events.

I’VE SUPPORTED
These are but a handful of case studies from people I’ve supported and helped over the past decade
¶ He was fresh out of a very devastating breakup + unsure of what to do with his life. He had left someone he deeply loved for no reason, and so we explored his fears of love, hidden shame + guilt he harboured from former relationships, and healed suicidal ideation that was appearing from ensuing depression. He made some major life moves post-coaching which included moving back to his home country to work on himself and his relationship with his parents.
¶ A man in a long-term marriage with no sexual relationship with his wife for 10+ years. He was seeking ways to rejuvenate intimacy, and together in our work we revealed his expectations and pressures for sex and worked on ways to build trust, communication & trust in his marriage - so as to rebuild meaningful connection. He took the steps to work on non-sexual intimacy and dissolve the tension, frustration and anger he felt through expressing care in other ways first.
¶ She was working on feeling comfortable in her body and releasing guilt + suppression of her sensuality. We worked on where she hid her desires (from herself + in relationships), and helped her release people-pleasing tendencies, connecting to her Wild Woman + unapologetic self, and rebuilding a deeper relationship to her oozing pleasure through neo-tantric practices.
• He was in a loving long-term marriage with his partner, but hiding a very prolific sex + porn addiction - which was contributing to his inner shame, guilt and lack of integrity. We worked on building his knowledge of Daoist practices to harness his sexual energy, expanding his knowledge of female pleasure & rituals he could practice with his partner, and we created a forgiveness ritual with his wife at the end of our time together, where he took ownership and apologized AND where she acknowledged her anger and expressed forgiveness and desire to move forward.
• She was someone who felt trapped in the paradox of either BEING EXPRESSED in her sexually but not being chosen in love -or- SACRIFICING her sexuality to suppress herself for a man in a relationship. We worked on connecting to and embodying her inner power, sexual desires, expression AND relationship needs - and dissolving the belief that it had to be one way or the other. She’s since met someone special and celebrated their one year wedding anniversary.
• He was a deeply logical person trapped in constraints placed on him by family & sought to explore love as well as freedom in his life choices. We worked on connecting him to his primordial archetypes (lover, warrior, alchemist & king), and claiming his power back from others. Major life changed happened for him including him leaving his unfulfilling career, travelling the world, and making better choices in love + relationships.
¶ She was in a long-term relationship with someone she loved, but also feeling held back in her sexual desire and expression. We worked on deepening trust with her body as well as letting go of sexual trauma with somatic practices so she could open to more trust in her voice, expression + life’s work.
• He was fresh out of a 10-year plus marriage that was unfulfilling emotionally & sexually, and was seeking to reconnect to himself and his power. Working with archetypal embodiment, neo-tantra practices, and rites of initiation, he remembered relationships COULD be fun and met someone he cultivated an adventurous and mutually fulfilling relationship with.
¶ She was in a loving + open relationship with her partner but also feeling not cherished and loved in her primary relationship. Together we explored her authentic desires for being provided for and adored, and where she was giving away her power to others. She claimed her power, took back control of her finances, stopped enabling partner, and began exerting boundaries in her relationships and her life.
• He was divorced and seeking to reconnect to love, yet was being suffocated by his deeply held resentment towards his ex + women in general. We explored his deeper desires around what a new vision of relationship would look like, and explored where he subconsciously used/didn’t appreciate women, and how he could deepen his devotion with his inner masc/feminine energy, to experience better fulfilling relationships. He also connected to his integrity and his bigger purposes and expression in the world.

A personal experience from a former client
“When I first started the mentorship I was not very trusting. I feel like I always held back when sharing ie not telling the whole story and not really being honest with myself. I felt I was very timid about my sexuality, very unsure of myself, and not really knowing who I was.
I believed I was coming to learn how to be a more sexual person, more confident, more in control, and to be an overall better lover. I learnt that I am enough and that sex is much more than an orgasm, and that there is way more connection in sex – way more pleasure in taking your time and that slow and soft is more. I feel like I’m a work in progress and I’m always moving forward. I didn’t realize how closed off I was and how much more open I am now. I was very defensive and not open to listening.
I didn’t handle the blocks very well, and I really just shut down and got defensive, once I was able to listen it all started to make sense – everything just started to flow, now I find I’m much more open to my instructors direction. We had many amazing journeys, they were very powerful. I remember one with my feminine and my masculine my four year old parents in the garden, Amazing. At the last session I could not believe how much pleasure I could feel.
I feel I’m so much more open I’m calmer I feel so much connected to myself it’s like I understand myself more than I ever had before. I’m much more confident in myself, I feel I communicate with others better, sexually I feel like I’m a little smoother more comfortable and I know more about sex.
I feel now like I’m dancing in my own sexuality. I feel sexy not ugly, I feel lust and not shame, and I feel like I want more more more.
When I joined the mentorship I thought I was in tune with myself I thought I was grounded I thought I knew about sex. I thought I knew pleasure – BOY was I wrong.
